Order

I still want to change something in my order, is that possible?

It is not possible to modify your order after it has been placed. This applies to cancellation of your order, address changes and product changes.

Can I ship my order to two addresses?

No, we cannot deliver 1 order to two addresses. We recommend that you place separate orders for two separate delivery addresses.

How can I track my order?

Once your package has left us, you will receive via email a Track and Trace code that you can use to track your package.

I did not receive a confirmation email

If you did not receive a confirmation within a few minutes after ordering, then the following may have gone wrong.

- Your provider may have seen our automatic mailing as spam, and deleted/moved it to the spam box;
- You made a typing error in your email address when ordering;
- You paid by direct debit, in that case it takes two days for the bank to approve payment after which you will receive a confirmation from us.

Do I always get a free gift with my order?

We occasionally surprise our customers with a gift with a specific purchase amount. This is always temporary and while supplies last.
When your shopping cart reaches a certain purchase amount, the product is automatically added to your shopping cart.

The free product is only valid on our webshop and not valid in our store unless otherwise stated. You cannot exchange the free product for cash.
Maximum 1 free product per purchase and not in combination with other offers.

If you return the products with which your free product expires, the free product will also pass, and we would like to receive it back.

My order has been delayed, how come?

We make every effort to get your order to you as quickly as possible, you can be assured of that. However, it may happen that your order has been delayed by the delivery service. Via your Track and Trace code you will be informed of the latest updates. Have 5 working days passed? Please contact our customer service and we will start an investigation with the delivery person.

My purchase was delivered incorrectly, damaged, or incomplete. What should I do?

If you receive a product that’s faulty or doesn’t match your order, we’re here to help. Please let us know as soon as you spot the issue; reporting it within two months is always considered on time.

If the item can’t be repaired or replaced, we’ll refund you in full, including the original shipping costs. We’ll also cover the return shipping. Just make sure to send the item back within 14 days after letting us know.

Can I also pay with a gift card?

It is also possible to pay with our own Marie-Stella-Maris Gift Card. You choose the payment method 'Gift Card' at checkout. Don't have enough balance on your gift card or do you have more than one? After entering your first gift card,
you can choose a new payment method again to pay the remaining amount.

In addition, it is also possible to pay with the gift cards of: VV-Cadeaukaart, BeautyCadeaukaart, YourGift, Winkelcheque, Fashioncheque, Cadeaubon.nl, Het Duurzame Cadeau, Beauty&Fashion Giftcard, De Cadeaukaart and Huis&Tuin Cadeau. Is it safe to pay Marie-Stella-Maris with my credit card or through Ideal?

Yes, payments to Marie-Stella-Maris are handled by Mollie. They also handle the payments of several large webshops. They ensure that your transaction is carried out securely. Once the payment is received, the order will be processed immediately by Marie-Stella-Maris and the normal delivery time applies. How long is my Marie-Stella-Maris gift card valid?

Your gift card is valid for 2 years and can be redeemed in our webshop or in our stores.

Where can I use my gift card?

You can redeem your gift card in our own stores and our web shop. Online you can use the gift card during payment. After you have added your favorite products to the shopping cart and filled in your details, choose the gift card during the payment process. It is possible to use multiple cards in one transaction and in combination with other payment methods except Apple Pay. In the store you can easily have the barcode scanned. Have fun shopping!

Should I spend my gift card all at once?

You don't have to spend your gift card in one go, of course the remaining credit stays on the card for another purchase.

Where can I buy a gift card?

A physical giftcard can be found both on our website https://giftcard.marie-stella-maris.com/, as well as in our own stores. The digital giftcard can only be ordered in our webshop.

I lost my gift card, what can I do?

That can happen, but don't worry. We are happy to look at a solution with you. For this, however, we will need your proof of purchase or order number. So please send this to customerservice@marie-stella-maris.comenand we will help you with love.

Do I need to activate my gift card before using it?

A physical gift card ordered on our website must first be activated before use. To do this, follow the instructions via email and/or go to'ACTIVATE GIFTCARD'. If you are unable to do so, please contact customerservice@marie-stella-maris.com.

When I purchase a gift card, am I entitled to the gift upon purchase?

When purchasing a gift card, you are purchasing a method of payment, so to speak. Therefore, you are not entitled to the gift at the time of purchase. If, when redeeming the gift card, the conditions that apply at that time are met, the gift will of course be added to that purchase!

How do I check how much balance is left on my gift card?

To view your balance on your Marie-Stella-Maris gift card go to"CHECK SALDO.

How long will it take to receive my order?

We make every effort to deliver this item on time. However, it is possible in an occasional case that due to circumstances delivery may be delayed. All orders placed and paid for before 23:59 on a business day will be shipped the next day. Add to this the delivery time of the mail order company, and your order will arrive after one or two days at most.

Due to unforeseen circumstances with the parcel service (such as bad weather, crowds or technical failures), your shipment can sometimes be delayed. In that case, we will closely monitor the status of the carrier and do everything possible to deliver your package as soon as possible.

Can I exchange or return my purchase?

Not satisfied with your product? No problem! You may return your purchased products within 14 calendar days of the delivery date, without giving us any reason. Returned products will only be accepted if they are unopened. Hygiene-sensitive products will be refused if the seal has been broken and the product is not suitable for return once unsealed. Only items ordered via the Marie-Stella-Maris  webshop can  be returned at one of our Marie-Stella-Maris Boutiques.

If you still want a different product or fragrance, for example, you can return the unwanted product. After we have received and processed the product, we aim to credit it within 10 working days. In the meantime you can re-order the correct product in our webshop.

How long will it take for my money to be refunded?

We strive to refund the purchase price within 10 business days of receiving your return. You can always send an email to our customerservice@marie-stella-maris.com to check the status of your return.

We strive to always give our customers the most complete Marie-Stella-Maris experience possible. We therefore find it very annoying that you have a complaint about a product delivered by us. Please send an e-mail to our customer service (with a picture of the complaint) via customerservice@marie-stella-maris.com before you return a product. Do not forget to mention the order number. We will try to solve your complaint as soon as possible!

Where can I enter my discount code?

The discount code is only valid online and can be entered in the checkout in the 'Gift Certificate or Discount Code' field. Pressing the 'apply' button will process the code.

Can I use multiple discount codes?

You can use multiple Gift Cards and discount codes per order. However, only one percentage discount code can be used per order.

If you return the products with which you have used the discount code, the discount will expire. You cannot exchange coupon codes for cash.

Something goes wrong during my order with my Gift Card/Discount Code, what should I do?

It is always annoying when something goes wrong during the payment process. You can contact our customer service at customerservice@marie-stella-maris.com. They will do everything they can to get back to you as soon as possible and solve the problem.

What fragrances do you offer?

Our body care and home products are offered in a series of unique fragrances. Each scent is specially designed to surprise, enhance mood and provide an unforgettable fragrance experience.

My product has changed color, how is this possible? Is this bad?

This may. Some of our products are in clear glass and are therefore exposed to elements such as sunlight. This has an effect on the product. Color change does not change anything about how the product works; it is purely the natural ingredients that react to sunlight.

How long do the products have a shelf life?

The products have a shelf life of 3 years after production. After opening 9 to 12 months.

What products can I refill?

Fragrance sticks, Room Sprays, Hand Soaps, Shampoos, Conditioners, and Body Washes are refillable in all fragrances (excluding limited editions) at our Refill Stations. Products can only be refilled in bottles that clearly display the corresponding ingredient information. Unfortunately, products that have been discontinued from our range can no longer be refilled at our Refill Bar.

Please note: We no longer offer the Hand Lotion & Body Lotion refills at our Refill Bar. This decision was made to ensure the highest standards of product hygiene. While these items cannot currently be refilled, we are actively working on new, sustainable solutions for the future. Join the Refillution and help us move toward a more sustainable tomorrow!

Marie-Stella-Maris means "Stars of the Sea" and are the baptismal names of founder Patrick Munsters.

What is the contribution to clean drinking water projects per purchase?

For every Marie-Stella-Maris product, we donate a set percentage of our sales.

How do you ensure that the contribution from my purchase benefits the clean drinking water projects?

Each month we calculate the total contribution from all our products sold and transfer this amount to the Marie-Stella-Maris Foundation. The Foundation selects and funds clean drinking water projects. Read more about the Foundation here.

Is Marie-Stella-Maris a commercial company or a charity?

Marie-Stella-Maris is not itself a charity or a nonprofit organization. We are a Social Enterprise, dedicated to improving access to clean drinking water worldwide. We believe that success goes beyond turning a profit.

Social Enterprises are organizations that have the same goals as charities, but at the same time apply the management principles of the private sector, including the need to grow and the ability to make a reasonable financial return. A Social Enterprise is like any other business: the company provides a product or service and has a revenue model. However, making money is not the main goal, but a means to achieve the real mission of creating social impact.
