Our Mission
In 2010, the United Nations declared access to clean drinking water and sanitation a fundamental human right. Yet 1 in 4 people still do not have access to clean water. Our mission is clear: to increase access to clean and safe drinking water worldwide. We achieve this together with our customers and partners by supporting projects with a focus on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH).
Foundation
With the establishment of the Marie-Stella-Maris company, the Marie-Stella-Maris Foundation was created. Through this foundation, sustainable Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) projects are independently selected. In this way, we ensure that the contribution of all Marie-Stella-Maris products you buy contribute to the right projects.
Partners
By carefully selecting projects and then following them closely during and after their realization, we strive to ensure that each project contributes structurally. In this process, we work closely with partners such as Aqua for All and Project Maji. Aqua for All is a non-profit organization founded by the Dutch water sector and is known for its expertise in water, sanitation and hygiene-related challenges.
