What are the scented candle and refill made of?
The scented candles and refills are produced 100% carbon-neutral in the Netherlands and made from 100% natural wax derived from rapeseed and coconut oil. Not only is this better for the environment, but the natural composition also provides a longer burning time and effective fragrance diffusion.
Natural wax is softer than paraffin wax, making it more delicate. This means that transportation may affect the refill candle. Fear not: it has no impact on the candle's performance. When you place the refill in the candle holder and light it, the difference in shape is no longer noticeable, and you can fully enjoy the unique fragrance experience.
How to I evenly burn the wax?
We recommend burning the candle for at least two hours, or as long as necessary until the entire surface has melted. This helps prevent a small portion of the candle from burning faster and causing a tunnel. Additionally, we recommend keeping the wick short for prolonged enjoyment of the candle.
How do I refill the scented candle?
Refill your scented candle easily in a few steps:
- Rinse the inside of the glass with warm water. Disclaimer: the glass is not dishwasher safe.
- Remove the pit and any candle residue from the glass with a paper towel.
- Dry the glass thoroughly.
- Take your Scented Candle Refill from the packaging and remove the paper.
- Place the wax in the glass. Enjoy your new scented candle!
How do I refill the fragrance sticks?
Refill your fragrance sticks in a few simple steps:
- Use a coaster to protect your furniture from the alcohol in the formulation.
- Carefully open the perfume bottle by unscrewing the black diffusion cap.
- Remove the white cover and screw the black diffusion cap back onto the bottle.
- Wash your hands with hand soap afterward.
For optimal enjoyment, please pay attention to the placement of your fragrance sticks; avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, and locations with excessive drafts. Turning the sticks is not necessary but can provide a fragrance boost if desired.
Note: The presence of alcohol in the formulation may cause stains on sensitive surfaces. To prevent this, we recommend using a coaster during refilling or refilling above a sink. Always place the sticks on a coaster and not directly on furniture. Ensure the exterior of the bottle is thoroughly dry.
