How does it work?

  2. Pay for your return label via iDEAL.
  3. You get an email from Returnista with your UPS/DHL return label. You have to print the label and attach it to your package.
  4. Take your package to your nearest UPS or DHL point to send it.

How can I return an order from abroad?

If you live abroad and want to return an order, you can send an email to customerservice@marie-stella-maris.com for further instructions. Once we have received and processed your package, the purchase amount will be refunded to the account you used for the original purchase within 7 working days. When returning your package, always ask for a track & amp; trace code. Without this code, we cannot do anything for you in case of loss by the shipping company. The costs for returning the product(s) will be borne by the customer.

Yes, all payments on the Marie-Stella-Maris webshop are made possible by Mollie. They are a familiar partner in payment systems for many large international webshops. They make sure that your transaction is done safely. When the payment is received, the order will be taken into production directly and the normal delivery times can be held into account. All internet payments are made possible by Mollie. This way we are certain we can offer multiple payments options and optimal security. Your payment will be done by Mollie, who collects all payments and transfers them to Marie-Stella-Maris. This is the reason why Mollie is noted on your bank statement.

Yes, it is possible to transfer your purchase manually through your personal bank account. When the payment is received we will take your order in production immediately. You can transfer your total purchase amount towards:

When placed an order online, we strive to get your purchase at your home as soon as possible. All orders that are placed before 15:00, are send out on the same day. Depending on your postal office and location your package will arrive soon. For more detailed information about delivery times, please click here.

We advise you to pay with iDeal or Mastercard or Visa to offer you the quickest service possible. 

No, we do not offer an option to deliver at two addresses. We would advise you to make separate orders for separate shipping locations.

Not satisfied? No problem! You may return the purchased products within 14 days of the delivery date. Click here for our return methods per country.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to exchange products. Do you still want for example a different scent? You can always return the product(s) you purchased. Just return the purchased products and order the right product(s) in our webshop. Orders received before 15:00 on business days will be send out the same day!

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return or exchange your purchased items within 14 days of your delivery date. After this period, the purchase is considered final. Please check the return conditions here.

Once we receive your return package, you will be refunded the purchase amount, excluding delivery costs, within 7 working days.

To process our returns might take up to two working days plus two days to complete the payment process. Please take into account 7 working days. Is it taking longer? Please contact us at customerservice@marie-stella-maris.com, we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We strive to always give our customers the most complete Marie-Stella-Maris experience possible! We are sorry to hear that you have a complaint about an item delivered by us. Please send an email with a photo of the complaint to our customer service via customerservice@marie-stella-maris.com before returning an item. Do not forget to mention the order number. We try to solve your complaint for you as soon as possible!

If you haven't received a confirmation e-mail a few minutes after your purchase, then the following could have gone wrong:

- Your provider possibly scans our mailings as spam and has deleted/moved this to the spambox;
- You have made a typing error in your e-mail address;
- You have paid through an automatic direct debit, in this case it can take up to two days for your bank to approve the payment. For which reason you will receive a confirmation e-mail after.

THE FIRE FAQ

Marie-Stella-Maris means Stars of the Sea and are the baptismal names of the Founder Patrick Marie-Stella-Maris Munsters. 

Care for Water' stems from our belief that we can take care of one another and our social purpose; improving access to clean drinking water worldwide.

The Marie-Stella-Maris Foundation is committed to structurally improving access to clean drinking water worldwide. We do this through supporting projects with a focus on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). By carefully selecting our projects and then monitoring them during and after construction, we strive to make sure that every project we undertake remains a success for years to come. In this we work closely with our partner Aqua for All.

For our natural mineral water we calculate a contribution of 5 ct/L and for our care products a contribution of 5% of our turnover. 

Every month we calculate the total contribution of all our products sold and deposit the amount into the Marie-Stella-Maris Foundation. The Foundation selects and finances clean drinking water projects. Read more about our Foundation here.

Marie-Stella-Maris is not a charity or a non-profit organisation. We are a for-profit, cause-based business, committed to improving access to clean drinking water worldwide. We believe that success goes beyond just turning a profit. For each product you purchase, we donate a fixed amount towards clean drinking water projects.

WATER FAQ

We bottle our natural mineral water at sources that are as close to our customer base as possible, instead of using one central (fixed) source for all markets. This way we can minimize transportation distances and limit our impact on the environment.

Our plastic bottles are made of lightweight PET that contains 50% re-cycled PET (rPET). They are 100% recyclable and BPA-free. Our glass variants are available in one-way bottles, which should be returned to glass containers.

Marie-Stella-Maris has had a LCA (Life Cycle Analysis) drawn up to calculate its impact on the environment. The LCA helps us to understand how improvements in packaging and transport decrease the impact on the environment. As a result, we have made our PET bottles as light as possible without losing the convenience or safety of packaging.

No, deposits are not levied on any of our bottles. Therefore we kindly ask you when you are finished drinking our PET bottles, to please make sure to return them to the appropriate trash containers so they can be recycled. Glass bottles can be deposited in the appropriate glass containers for recycling.

How can I return an order from another country?

If you live in a country other than the Netherlands or Belgium and wish to return your order, please send an e-mail to customerservice@marie-stella-maris.com for further instructions. Once we have received and processed your package, you will be refunded within 7 working days to the account you used for the original purchase. Always ask for a track & trace code when returning your product. Without this code we can do nothing for you in case of loss by the shipping company. The return costs are for your own account.

When you place a purchase online, we aim to deliver it to your home as quickly as possible. All orders placed and paid for before 3pm on a working day will be dispatched on the same day. Add to this the delivery time of the mail-order company, and your order will arrive after one or two days at most. For more information on delivery times, please see 1.5

When paying with iDEAL, MasterCard and Visa, for example, your order can in any case be shipped the same (working) day (ordered before 15:00) or the next (working) day, guaranteed.
No, we cannot deliver one order to two addresses. We recommend that you place separate orders for two separate delivery addresses.

If you would like a different product or fragrance, you can return the unwanted product. After we have received and processed the product, we aim to credit it within 10 working days! We strive to refund the purchase price within 10 working days after receipt of your return. You can always send an e-mail to our customerservice@marie-stella-maris.com to check the status of your return.

The processing of returns often takes 4 working days plus 2 to 3 days for the payment provider. Please allow approximately 10 working days. Does it take longer? Please contact us at customerservice@marie-stella-maris.com and we will sort it out for you as soon as possible.

We strive to always give our customers the most complete Marie-Stella-Maris experience possible. We are therefore very sorry if you have a complaint about a product that we have delivered. GIFT CARDS & DISCOUNT CODES

Our Digital Gift Card is only available in our webshop. It is also only redeemable in our webshop. 

If you have received a Gift Card, you can redeem it during the ordering process. Place products in your shopping basket and proceed to checkout. After filling in your customer details, enter the relevant code in the checkout of the shopping cart, under "Enter your discount code or Gift Card here. Click on the 'Activate code' button and the discount will be deducted from the total amount.

You received the Digital Gift Card by email after purchase.

If there is still a balance on the Digital Gift Card you can use it again. If you received a Digital Gift Card for €25 and you order for €22 the first time, the credit is €3. You can use this amount the next time you order online.

If there is not enough credit on the Digital Gift Card, the remaining amount of your order will be paid through one of the payment methods offered by Mollie. Check here for the other payment methods available. The amount of the Gift Card will be deducted from the total amount to be paid.

Our Digital Gift Card has no expiry date and can be redeemed for Marie-Stella-Maris products at any time. Any remaining credit will also remain valid indefinitely. Our physical Gift Card has an expiry date which is displayed on the card itself. 

A (Digital) Gift Card was purchased online via our webshop and has no expiry date.

A Voucher Code was purchased via one of our partners, does have an expiry date and must be redeemed in one purchase. Residual value expires.

A Discount code is a percentage discount and also has an expiry date.

All codes can only be redeemed in our webshop.

A voucher code cannot be used twice! The value of these codes must be redeemed in one purchase. If there is a residual value after purchase, it expires. Suppose you have a voucher code of € 40 and your purchase is € 39, € 1 remains. This amount expires and cannot be used for your next purchase.

You can use multiple Gift Cards and Voucher Codes per order.

However, only one percentage discount codecan be used per order.

If you return the products with which you have used the discount code, the discount will expire. Discount codes cannot be exchanged for money.

It is always annoying when something goes wrong during the payment process. You can contact our customer service at customerservice@marie-stella-maris.com. They will do everything in their power to answer you as quickly as possible and solve the problem.

GIFT CARD & DISCOUNT CODE FAQ

You can purchase the Gift Card in our webshop or at our Flagship store in Amsterdam. The Gift Card can also be exchanged in our Flagship store in Amsterdam.

When you have received a Gift Card you can redeem it during the ordering process. Place products in your shopping bag and proceed to checkout. After entering the customer data, you then enter the barcode (that is stated on the back of your Gift Card, starting with BR) at the checkout of the shopping cart, fill in at "Enter here your Discount Code or Gift Card (code on the back)". Click on the arrow and the discount will be deducted from the total amount.

The Gift Card barcode can be found on the reverse of the Gift Card, starting with BR.

When you have a rest amount on your Gift Card you can use your Gift Card multiple times. Say if you have a Gift Card of €20,- and your first purchase is €17,- you are left with an amount of €3,-. This amount you can still use upon your next purchase. 

No, this is unfortunately not possible. If you would like to purchase a new Gift Card you can buy it online or at our Flagship store in Amsterdam.

If there is not a sufficient amount on your Gift Card, the rest amount of your order will be done through one of our payment methods supported by Mollie. Click here to see the other payment methods. The amount of the Gift Card will be deducted from your total amount to be paid.

Our Gift Card has no expiration date and can always be exchanged for Marie-Stella-Maris products. Remaining credit also remains valid indefinitely.

A Gift Card always starts with BR and has no expiration date. A Discount Code, on the other hand, has an expiration date and can only be used in our webshop.

A discount code cannot be used twice! The value of these codes must be redeemed in 1 purchase. If there is a residual value after purchase, it will expire. Say if you have a Gift Card of €40,- and your purchase is €39,- and €1,- remains. This amount will expire and cannot be used upon your next purchase.

No. You can use a maximum of 1 Gift Card or 1 Discount Code per order or a combination of a maximum of 1 Gift Card and 1 Discount Code.

Use can only be made of 1 Discount Code per order and is therefore not valid in combination with other discount promotions. If you return the products with which you have used the discount code, the discount will be expired. You cannot exchange discount codes for money.

If you have several Gift Cards and would like to redeem them in the same order, send an email to customerservice@marie-stella-maris.com. They will contact you as soon as possible to merge the various Gift Card codes.

Job Description

We are looking for an Office Manager & HR/recruitment role, since it is essential in realizing the growth of the organisation. With attracting new people, comes great responsibility. We Care for our people and therefore they are a treasured part of our business.

As Marie's (Junior) Office Manager & HR/recruiter you play an important role in managing people and the office process. You will act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. You'll also assist in creating policies, processes and documents. Moreover the role includes all people related administrative procedures, payroll, performance and talent management practices.

You are here to get things done and further professionalization and continuous improvement are key aspects in implementing the company's growth and sustainability targets. You make all the details fall into the right place. Above all, your personality is key for this role. You can connect with people through a caring approach.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Keep the office running like a well-oiled machine. You're in and amongst others, organising office supplies and taking care of a healthy lunch.
  • You'll be all about how to bring Marie's culture across to everyone - think about birthdays, new employees, team events (for now online...) and other occasions for little surprises and to constantly Care for the employees.
  • Lead, further build and optimise the HR department (HR, Recruitment, Learning & Development and Office)
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Maintain up-to-date employee holiday records

Education and skills

  • Completed Bachelor/HBO or WO education;
  • At least 1 year of experience in similar roles;
  • A team player, but also strongly independent;
  • Pro-active, flexible, reliable and hands-on;
  • Knowledge of the Dutch Law preferred;
  • Administratively well-educated and structured;
  • Skills in Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook;
  • Good communication skills at all levels;
  • Excellent in Dutch and English.
